1. Nikon Monarch HG 10×42 bimnocular review
We love the Nikon Monarch HG 10x42 binoculars because they’re so convenient and high quality. Thanks to their roof prism design these binoculars are narrow so slip into their custom carry case (or a big pocket on an overcoat) with ease. In order to get sharpness from the center of the image circle right to the edge Nikon have developed a Field Flattener Lens System and utilized Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass to prevent chromatic aberration at the same time. Sure, the binoculars are aimed at a market where buyers have some spare cash, but you’re not just getting quality binoculars at that price. All the other accessories feel polished and refined, whether its the beautiful carry case, the convenient objective lens caps, or the soft, cushioned neckstrap. Nikon seems to have not skimped on anything with the Monarch HG 10x42s. They’re beautifully balanced in the hand, have a soft but grippy rubberized armor over the lightweight magnesium alloy body and every part of the binoculars is finished to a high standard.

2. 2023 VAAST A/1 2X GRX GRAVEL BIKE REVIEW: BETTER, BUT STILL ROOM TO IMPROVE
Vaast is the newest company to take a stab at the idea, and it’s a brand wholly built around magnesium bikes. In fact, Vaast’s parent company, Allite, just happens to be the company that’s making the magnesium tubing — and not only for Vaast, but also for any other company that wants to use it, in cycling or otherwise.
That said, magnesium has been tried before for bicycle frames with varying degrees of success, and corrosion has historically been a stubbornly persistent problem. However, Allite’s particular magnesium alloys — collectively dubbed “Super Magnesium” — are supposedly just as corrosion-resistant as aluminum, and there are various alloy blends of the stuff to suit different forming operations, such as extruding, machining, forging, and welding.
This A/1 is Vaast’s all-road/gravel model, built with a TIG-welded magnesium frame and offering clearance for 700×42 mm or 650×50 mm tires. The tubing is nominally round at first glance, but a closer look reveals some subtle flaring at the forward ends of the top tube and down tube to provide more front-end strength. The large-diameter chainstays sport rounded-rectangular cross-sections, while the seatstays are more or less straight and round from end to end.

3. Gocycle G4 Review 2022
There’s the e-bikes that are tools, designed specifically to do a job and do it very, very well; there’s the e-bikes that are built for fun — those are your beach cruisers, minibikes and the like that are made for dinking around your neighborhood or the bike path. Then there are the e-bikes with one foot in each of those worlds.
The GoCycle, in my opinion, fits neatly into that first category. It’s a tool carefully designed to meet the specific needs of a commuter who’s short on space, likely lives in a dense environment and needs an e-bike they can tote with them into an office, onto public transport or can be stored in the smallest of places.
It’s obviously fun, too. With a 500W motor and many of the components built for performance, the thing is quick and handles better than your average folding e-bike. But, by my assessment, it’s real shining attributes are it’s incredibly lightweight of just shy of 38 lbs and it’s very, very well designed fast folding mechanism.
But aside from how it folds, there are just a huge number of parts on this bike that are either entirely proprietary and designed in-house by GoCycle, or use consumer components modified to suit a fast folder’s needs.
The front hub motor, for example, is a proprietary unit designed in-house that GoCycle calls the G4 Drive. This unit makes 500W and is housed inside the hub shell of the front wheel. It’s shockingly small in stature, but despite its physical petiteness it packs an absolute wallop of power.
The wheels are a one-piece spoked job made of magnesium that are, again, proprietary. It’s got a single-sided front fork made of carbon fiber. The mid-body of the bike is made of aluminum, the aft body is made of carbon, which is new on the G4 model, and the rear section of the bike, called the CleanDrive, is made of magnesium. Like the fork, that’s single-sided, too.

4. HUAWEI’s MateBook X Pro now available in White in UAE
The Premium Edition of the High-Performance Flagship Laptop HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is now available in a scintillating White colourway on Huawei’s official website and select retailers in UAE.
The Premium Edition of the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is made of lightweight and strong magnesium alloy, a material that is widely used in the aviation, automobile and DSLR industries. An additional layer of coating is added to the surface of the laptop to give it corrosion and wear resistance. But instead of the traditional sandblasting anodising process, the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro uses a Micro-arc Oxidation coating process resulting in zero toxic substances and zero heavy metals as byproducts, thus making it more environmentally friendly. The presence of a Skin-soothing Metallic paint process on the surface also adds a beautiful matte finish to the laptop.

5. Triangle Magellan Duetto 40th review
Everyone likes an anniversary. To mark its 40th year, French speaker brand Triangle has introduced a number of special models to celebrate the occasion. The Duetto 40th is the smallest model from the company’s high-end Magellan range, but these stereo speakers still pack in a full dose of the company’s range of technologies.
Those uninspiring letters and numbers do no justice to a distinctive and nicely engineered unit that seeks to improve efficiency, control dispersion and reduce distortion. The central pointy phase plug draws all the attention, but great care is also taken behind the 25mm magnesium alloy dome to ensure that the rear-radiating sound doesn’t impact the unit’s clarity and transparency.

6. Audi A8 2023: A8, A8L and S8 priced in Australia as new-generation BMW 7 Series rival looms
In a world ever saturated with prestige SUVs, the arrival of a new executive barge has us happily bathing in limo-like nostalgia. Enter the refreshed Audi A8, A8L and S8, landing in Australian showrooms from this week.
The updated pinnacle of the Audi brand, and rival to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and new-generation BMW 7 Series, arrives with sharper styling, new innovative technologies and, inevitably, higher prices.
The A8 is quite the juggernaut at 5.19m long, stretching to 5.32m the A8L. The body’s constructed of 58 per cent lightweight aluminium parts, while use of carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer and magnesium strut-tower bars all help keep kilos down.
That said, the A8’s unladen weight is a chunky 2095kg, while the A8L is 2120kg and the S8 is a comparatively lardy 2295kg.

7. Buy V-Guard water heaters for safest hot baths
Founded in 1977, V-Guard started with manufacturing voltage stabilizers and today has grown exponentially to manufacture electric cables/pumps/motors/fans along with geysers and solar water heaters. V-Guard has always put safety first and their products all are built with only the high grade metal and coating, so as to not endanger people. Especially in their geysers they have given additional safety mechanisms to prevent small hazards.
Available in four sizes- 6L, 10L, 15L and 25L, V-Guard Divino is an ideal water heater for small families who are also looking for a higher energy efficiency. It is rated BEE 5-star and comes with the high density CFC Free extra thick PUF insulation that offers maximum heat retention. It is also suitable for hard water usage as it has the advanced Vitreous Enamel coating that protects the inner tank from white scales and corrosion.
It is equipped with a single weld line tank that is designed to reduce leakage by 66% and a pressure release valve to safeguard against reverse water flow, vacuum formation or pressure build-up. It also features a temperature knob with which you can set the water temperature that you want between 35-75C and a thermal cut-out mechanism that keeps the water at you desired temperature and not higher than that with the help of an advanced thermostat. It has a nickel enriched Incoloy heating element that lasts longer even during tough conditions and a magnesium anode rod to add further protection against corrosion.
